Life vs aLive, I always wanted to see more of that. Zest vs San is basically "Thanks for coming San, try again next year". Maru somehow always gets Protoss players. ByuL vs Shine is ludicrous. sOs vs Solar is Solar's best chance to get into the tournament. TY vs Trap is pretty hype, as are Rogue vs Heart and Dear vs soO.
And like every season, Global Seeds get outrageous opponents.

It's just ridiculous, how from every possible opponent, sOs was able to get his worst kryptonite. And soO couldn't get other Protoss either, holy shit.
Anyway. Journey/soO/Maru/Rogue/Shine/sOs/Zest/HyuN/Trap/Bogus/Rain/aLive. 7P5T4Z SSL.

Snute can execute roach/bane so he's got a shot

Anyway. Journey/soO/Maru/Rogue/Shine/sOs/Zest/HyuN/Trap/Bogus/Rain/aLive. 7P5T4Z SSL. I'm having this feeling that there is some sorcery involved in how they make the matchups. The Global Seeds always get really difficult opponents and they always have some weird dream scenario matches in there too (e.g. INno vs ByuL or Flash vs Life in previous Challengers).

Solar is actually quite weak at the moment (in terms of momentum). Sure his one win in proleague did come from sOs himself, but it was against a botched immortal all-in that lacked the flare and decisiveness of PartinG.
In the Bo.5 scenario, taking in recent match form, I don't actually see Solar having the upper hand.
oh, and Rip Toodming and Sora. Not Snute, because he knows roach-bane well enough to not get slaughtered 3 zip.

RIP seeds sucks for Sora too
pretty decent matchup for HyuN, he might advance

At any other time in Innovation's career, I'd probably have said Snute was absolutely screwed, but Innovation is looking way weaker than before. Of course, he's still way favored here, but it could be a lot worse for Snute.

Early game and early-midgame can be a bit of a vulnerable time for him against Zerg, and Snute, while known more for passive macro play, is certainly not loathe to mix things up. Furthermore, I think they're even in the very lategame, especially considering Zerg's slight advantage in the matchup at that stage of the game.

Just a quick reminder that Snute dropped out of WCS Premier by losing to Kelazhur.

The battle of slumps.
Snute gonna take a plane trip to Korea and a bus trip in SSL studio!

The Chinese players had the worst luck: Jim vs Maru, MacSed vs Parting, TooDming vs Rain, all GSL/SSL champion caliber players
