Was your appetite whetted by Michael Cragg’s first-listen blog about Kiss Me Once, the 12th album from Kylie? He was enthusiastic, reckoning it combined “the exuberance of 2010’s Aphrodite and the harder-edged electro of 2007’s X”. It’s certainly all been change in Kylieworld of late, with her hiring Jay Z’s Roc Nation management team, and working with new writers and producers, including Sia, Stargate and the Pharrell, without whom no big pop record is allowed to be complete.
